Other certified venues include the Cleveland Clinic, Chase Center, and Yankee Stadium. . RMFH is the first in the State of Ohio and the first in the NBA to use MMC Tool. . MMC utilized the detailed architectural specs of the FieldHouse to create a Social Distancing Manager tool. . Eliminates Human Error with a gaming engine computer measuring the space between seats.

Assumptions for setting Venue Parameters for Cavs Games: . 6 ft social distancing between each pod of seats . All fans (ages 2 and over) will wear an approved face mask while not actively eating or drinking . To increase social distancing between fans and court, Rows 1-5 are not available in the lower level sideline sections. Also, no floor seating on the sidelines. . Premium areas will be retrofitted with plexiglass to provide the highest levels of safety and protection. The row directly in front of the suites is not available to ensure 6 ft of separation. . For this event, most of the seating pods are in 2's, 3's, & 4's. . ADA seating will be handled upon request.

. Utilizing the MMC tool, the total capacity was reduced to 4,404 including premium seating. That number of 4,404 guests is 22.66% of the pre-COVID capacity (19,432).

. In order to safely execute this event, we are estimating approximately 385 staff members will also be on site– this number includes FieldHouse staff (Guest Services, Security, Operations, Housekeeping, Aramark and the NBA).

. During the initial purchase process, buyer will be informed on event mask policy/overall facility protocols. No tickets will be delivered to the buyer’s account until 24-48 hours prior to the event. All members of the purchaser party will be contacted via email with symptom checklist and liability waiver for tickets to be activated and delivered.

. In collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic, we will determine the appropriate symptom checklist for releasing the seats to the account.

. Refund policies will be updated to discourage anyone who is ill from attending.

. Once seats are delivered, the Entrance Zone will be communicated. These recommendations will be based on the seat location to create the shortest distance from entrance to seat and decrease the time needed to navigate to the seats. The aim is to limit the amount of time and area that people cross paths with one another.

. Digital ticket and seat locator also list a portal for wayfinding to your seat once inside the facility (and ensuring limited crossover between parties in the same row).

. Tickets will also communicate a recommended Entrance Zone to the Guest to limit the amount of contact with other fans.

In learning from previous, smaller events held at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse as well as from other large-scale venues/gatherings (i.e. Walt Disney World), we will implement designated eating areas to ensure proper mask use. . Our policy/expectation is that if you are not actively eating or drinking while in a designated eating area, your mask will be on (covering your nose and mouth). Additionally, guests must be seated in order to remove their mask to actively eat and drink. . Masks - Masks will be required upon entry for all attendees (ages 2 and over), with exempted exceptions recognized. This will be communicated in advance to all guests. If a mask is not brought or lost by the guest, RMFH will provide one at no cost. . Sanitizers - Throughout the facility, there are hand sanitizer locations at entry points, concourses, elevators, restrooms, seating down aisles, next to each machine/touch screen, concession stands, etc. Miniature bottles of hand sanitizer will also be provided to our frontline team members to assist. .
