ICCESEN founded by Prof. Dr. İskender Akkurt, is a remarkable platform where both computational and experimental works on both science and engineering fields are discussed and shared. There were about 600 presented papers from about 50 different countries in ICCESEN-2015. All manuscripts were subjected to the peer review procedure. We appreciate all the authors and reviewers for their valuable contribution in order to achieve a publication of high scientific quality. We are thankful to all invited speakers, scientific and organizing committee and surely also all participants from all over the world. I am also thankful to Prof. Dr. Witold Dobrowolski (Editor-in-Chief of Acta Physica Polonica A) and his team for collaboration with us for publishing about 135 papers in this issue.     WORLD STATISTICS DAY CELEBRATION IN TURKEY World Statistics Day, together with Turkey Statistics Day was celebrated with the participation of senior executives of TurkStat, the staff and invited guests. Apart from the visit cultural activities and a speech of the President of TurkStat, a two-day Statistical Research Symposium will be held. Within the framework of the symposium, various panels are organized. The main theme of the Symposium that took place on 6-7 May 2010 was determined as “Administrative Registers and Statistics”. Besides, this has become a major service sector for all countries in socio-cultural and economical terms, having reached to an annual economical volume of $ 100 billion. Anatolia has been a center of education and science thanks to the scientist it has brought up, its history, its nature, and its geopolitical location at the intersection of three continents. Today, Turkey, too, is an educational center in its territory with its nearly 200 universities, and more than 100 hundred thousand students coming from 95 counties. Students prefer Turkey due to the particular reasons mentioned below. Turkey is a modern Muslim country being governed by Republican regime. Turkey is a country with a thriving economy, alongside its historical, climatic, and natural beauties. Turkish universities accommodate all departments in Turkey with numerous alternatives. While Turkish universities in general are at European standards, not only the private universities are cheaper than those in Europe, it is also way cheaper to study in the state universities, and even for free in some of them.

Some organizations evaluate the performance of universities. URAP is one of the organizations assessing the performance of universities according to various criteria. The aim of this study is to rank Turkish universities according to their performances based on the 2019-year report published by URAP assessing the performance of 166 universities according to 5 criteria. Abstract The aim of the current study is to examine the multicultural perception levels of pre-service physical education teachers. In the scope of the study, it was also examined whether the pre- service teachers' multicultural perception levels differ according to their university, gender, family income level, grade level and general academic achievement grade point average. In this direction, the universities in the Western Black Sea Region were selected and 407 pre-service teachers were interviewed. In the study, which was conducted in a screening design, one of the quantitative research methods, the data were collected with Multicultural Perception Scale developed by Ayaz (2016). The data of the research were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t test for unrelated measurements and Kruskal Wallis test. As a result of the study, it was determined that pre-service teachers' perceptions of multiculturalism were high. While It was determined that pre-service teachers’ perceptions of multiculturalism did not show a significant change according to their gender and grade levels, there were significant differences according to the university, general academic achievement grade point average and the income level of their families.
