Ta film si ga je prislužil za najbolši izvirni scenarij. Film je postavljen v trideseta leta in nekateri jo primerjajo s kriminalkami kot jih piše Agatha Christe. Zabava pri bogatem gospodarju se konča s skrivnostnim umorom gostitelja in zapleti ter spletke gostov, sorodnikov in služničadi(vsak od njih seveda upa na dediščino) se lahko začnejo. Porter in Val ukredeta večjo količino denarja, vendar Val Porterja "nategne", enako pa, ampak tukaj dobesedno, stori tudi z njegovo ženo. Porterju želi vzeti življenje, vendar Porter preživi in trdno je odločen, da se bo bivši ljubezni in Valu maščeval. Bam cannot tolerate the pain enough to remain perfectly still, so the brand touches him several times, resulting in multiple images that seem blurry or in motion. Bam’s mother, who usually plays the role of game audience for his antics, balks when she learns that her son has been hurt as well as permanently marked. She asks Dunn why anyone would ever burn a friend. “Cause it was funny,” Dunn answers.1 Jackass mines the body in pain as well as the absurd and the taboo, often dealing with one or more of the body’s abject excretions. Jackass offers no compelling narrative arc or cliffhangers, presenting instead a series of discrete segments that explore variations on the singular eponymous focus of the show: playing the fool. This deliberate idiocy is the show’s greatest strength, and its excesses seem calculated to repeatedly provide the viewer with a mix of schadenfreude, horror, and disbelief.

Taking up in-depth portraits of different aspects of living and growing up in a media-saturated era, the series takes an innovative approach to the genre of the ethnographic monograph. Through detailed case studies, the books explore practices at the forefront of media change through vivid description analyzed in relation to social, cultural, and historical context. New media practice is embedded in the routines, rituals, and institutions—both public and domestic—of everyday life. The books portray both average and exceptional practices but all grounded in a descriptive frame that ren- ders even exotic practices understandable. Rather than taking media content or technol- ogy as determining, the books focus on the productive dimensions of everyday media practice, particularly of children and youth. The emphasis is on how specific communities make meanings in their engagement with convergent media in the context of everyday life, focusing on how media is a site of agency rather than passivity.     About the Crew JULIEN NITZBERG/ DIRECTOR – Like Grandmaster Flash, Stanley Kubrick and David Berkowitz, Julien Nitzberg was raised in the Bronx. At age 16, he became a founding member of the notorious and much despised Lower East Side hardcore punk band Artless . After college, Nitzberg moved to the Appalachian Mountains, where he directed The Wild World of Hasil Adkins, One Man Band And Inventor of the Hunch a documentary about Boone County’s infamous punk progenitor and rockabilly pioneer. This film featured the first footage of Mamie White who broke up a three-way catfight between female fans of Hasil Adkins during a concert sequence. This auspicious meeting led to Nitzberg’s friendship with the White family and his shooting the first video footage of Jesco White in 1989. This footage became the basis for Dancing Outlaw on which he served as Associate Producer. After moving to California, Nitzberg directed the feature film Bury Me in Kern County . As a screenwriter, Nitzberg has written for HBO, SHOWTIME, TNT, VH1 and NBC. In 2006, Nitzberg wrote and directed the controversial operetta The Beastly Bombing or A Terrible Tale of Terrorists Tamed by the Tangles of True Love , which won the LA Weekly Theater Critics’ Musical of the Year Award and was dubbed by the Huffington Post- “the first great work of comedy to emerge from the post-9/11 little planet of horrors.” After playing for over a year in Los Angeles, The Beastly Bombing went on to be staged in New York, Chicago and Amsterdam. He is currently writing a script for HBO Films based on the strange life of the civil rights activist and professional wrestler Sputnik Monroe.
