Junction Works is a Grade II Listed Building and is located in the Bar Conservation Area of Birmingham.

New development within the area was stimulated by the construction of the Branch of the Birmingham and Fazeley canal and the Warwick and Birmingham Canal , which meet just north of the Junction Works.

Ackermann's Panorama of Birmingham provides an insight into the character of the area in the mid-nineteenth century when Junction Works was built.

The Listing description by Historic states nos 106, 108 and 110 Fazeley Street were a row of 3 former houses amalgamated and extended to rear as works or may have been built as such.

Figure 1. top left. extract from 'Panoramic view of Birmingham' 1847 published by Ackermann and Co. shows a building on the Junction Works site and the warehouse buildings and two canal basins at Warwick Wharf . Figure 2. bottom left. Aerial image from Google earth.
