ALL BREEDS FOAL FUTURITY

Class FF This year we are changing the Foal Futurity slightly, to give more foals a chance of entering. Previously we have got people to enter their horses as foals, however this year we are changing it so that the first year that foals are entered will be when they are yearlings which will give more people a chance of entering them if their foals are due to be born after the show. Previously foals have been entered the year they are born and quiet often it has meant that foals aren’t born before the show so can’t attend. For the foals that were entered in last year’s show they will be judged on for 4 years. The next ‘new ‘lot of entrants will have 3 years of judging. This competition is open to all foals born since August 2009. These classes will be judged by a panel of judges scoring each foal out of a maximum of 10 points and is an ongoing competition for the next 3 years. i.e. Yearling, 2year old, 3 year old. Each year your foal will be judged by a panel of judges, culminating at the final futurity when your foal is judged as a 3year old. Awards will be made on the day judging but the points will carry forward from year to year. The winner will be announced after the foals 3year old judging. Points belong to the animal so go with the horse or pony if sold during the competition.

Points each competition 1= entering 1= parading 8= First 6= Second

4= Third 2= Fourth

Entry Fee $20. A once only fee payable as Yearlings. No further fee each year for foal futurity classes. This is an extra special class. No late entries. You must enter your exhibits as yearlings

A special presentation will be made in the main arena to the winner of the 2010 foal futurity. The winner receives a dress rug, sash and rosette and the Horsewyse Perpetual Trophy.
