3 Parade of Veterans - This class is open to Afghan Hound dogs/Bitches who are at least 7 years old on the day of the show. This class is to honor those older dogs and bitches and is non-competitive. Veterans in this class will not be allowed to compete in any Regular or Non-Regular Class at this show. Veterans need not be Champions but must be AKC registered. Please fill out the form included on Page 8 and return it to the Event Secretary. Parade of Rescue Dogs - This class is a non-competitive parade open to any Afghan Hound who was placed, adopted or otherwise obtained other than being purchased from a breeder. Dog need not be entered in Regular Class to enter. Spayed and Neutered dogs are eligible. Please fill out the form included on page 8 and return it the Event Secretary.

Show Regulations There will be no charge for admittance of parking. Grounds will open at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday morning. No space for unentered dogs. Please bring your own chairs and shade.

YOU MUST CLEAN UP YOUR GROOMING AREA AND AFTER YOUR DOG. Grooming will be done next to your vehicle. Vehicles must execute social distancing. No grooming tent will be provided. Come to Ready Ring as your class is called. All exhibitors must execute social distancing.

SWEEPSTAKES- PM SHOW Judge: Billy Webb The Sweepstakes is open to all Afghan Hounds who, on the opening day of the show, will be six months and under eighteen months of age. Entry fee is $20.00 to be paid in addition to the Regular Class entry fee. All entries in the Sweepstakes MUST also be entered in a Regular Breed Class. The Sweepstakes class should be shown as an Additional Class on the same entry form used to enter the dog or bitch in a Regular Class. DIRECTIONS TO COLONIAL PARK From Route 287 Route 287 to Exit 10 toward New Brunswick. Take Easton Avenue to the first light. Make a right onto Cedar Grove Lane. Follow for two miles, and make a right at the fourth light onto Weston Road. Follow to first light and make a left onto Elizabeth Avenue. Proceed to entrance of Colonial Park , make a right . Follow through park to "Knob Hill Grove/Parking Lot C" on the right.

From Route 206 Southbound Take Route 206 to Dukes Parkway. Go through the U-turn and cross back over Route 206. Follow Dukes Parkway to the end, and turn right onto Main Street. Go through the center of Manville. Make a left at the light onto the Manville Causeway (Wilhousky Street). Go over a small bridge and turn right on to Weston Road. Follow Weston Road for 1.5 miles and make the first right On to Mettlers Road. Entrances to Colonial Park will be on the left and right.

From Route 206 Northbound Take 206 to Amwell Road. Make a right at the light onto Amwell Road. After three and a half miles you will see a sign for Colonial Park on the right side. Turn left here onto Mettlers Road. Entrances for Colonial Park will be on the left and right.

From New Brunswick area (Hamilton Street - Amwell Road) Follow Hamilton Street from New Brunswick - the name changes to Amwell Road in Somerset. Amwell Road comes to a fork; turn left. You are still on Amwell Road. Follow to the second light and make a right onto Elizabeth Avenue. Follow Elizabeth to the Colonial Park entrance on the left.

Non-Regular Classes, $30.00. Parade of Veteran and Parade of Rescue - No Fee. Each show limited to 100 entries. CLOSING DATE for entries 12:00 NOON, Wednesday, APRIL 21, 2021 (at Show Secretary's Office) after which entries cannot be accepted, cancelled or substituted except as provided for in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the Dog Show Rules. THE SHOW will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. An AKC RECORDING FEE of $.50 and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show. If a dog is entered in more than one class in one of these events, the AKC Recording Fee and Service Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 11, Section 2). All Recording Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute a valid entry fee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog has been processed, no refund will be made. CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are respon-sible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. CANINE COURTESY All dogs shall be kept under control at all times. You are responsible for picking up after the animals in your care. 9 AKC Rules, Regulations, Policies and Guidelines are available on the American Kennel Club Website, www.akc.org AGREEMENT I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I( (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is Limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list, if the dog show class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name. 10 AHCNNJ COVID PROTOCOLS

! All Attendees must sign a COVID waiver ! All attendees will be required to will wear a mask to fully cover their mouth and nose. This includes at the Exhibitors at their Grooming Set up. ! All attendees will practice social distancing while at the show site. Attendees are to avoid large gatherings at the pavilion and at the Ring. ! All attendees will avoid congregating to the extent possible. ! No Spectators will be permitted. ! No ringside seating will be permitted. ! Any Attendees exhibiting any COVID symptoms will not be permitted on the show grounds. This includes and not limited to: Fever, Cough, Shortness of Breath, Diarrhea, Chills, Muscle pain or Headache. ! No food or drinks will be available at the show. Please plan to bring breakfast and lunch as needed. ! SHOW AND GO. NO GROOMING TENT. All grooming must be completed at home or at your vehicle. Pop up tents will be permitted either behind or in front of your vehicle. Due to limited parking grooming space may be up to the footprint of your vehicle. ! Due to park occupancy restrictions any exhibitor that has completed judging for the day maybe asked to leave the park. ! No shade or water will be provided. Please bring your own shade and water to the show ! Hand washing stations and/or instant hand sanitizer and/or wet wipes will be made available. ! The Permanent Public Toilet structures will be closed. Attendees are to utilize Portable Toilets provided by the Somerset Park System. All attendees agree to clean as used" and leave the Portable Toilet doors propped open when not in use. ! All attendees will avoid touching dogs that are not their responsibility. ! Catalogs will not be available on site for purchase or to borrow at the Ring. Catalogs will be posted online on the RAU DOG SHOWS website the morning of the event.

These COVID Rules are subject to change with any changes or additions to adhere to the current Local, State and Federal Guidelines as they evolve. Failure to adhere to these rules will results in an AKC Bench Hearing.

11 HEALTH ACKNOWLEDGMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER

My presence at this event proves I voluntarily accept this risk and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself of my children (including, but not limited to, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense of any kind) that may be experienced or incurred in connection with attendance at this event.

I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at this event may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to the Afghan Hound Club of Northern New Jersey, show staff, employees, volunteers, participants, attendees, and their families. I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold Afghan Hound Club of Northern New Jersey & Rau Dog Shows their agents, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, attendees or other participants from any claims.

SOCIAL DISTANCING I will, to the best of my ability, practice proper social distancing as recommended by the State of PA guidelines & directives, as well as practice good hygiene (hand washing, use of hand sanitizer, wearing of a mask if and when required, etc.) and follow other health recommendations. I will not sit in groups closer than 6 feet and will practice social distancing at all times.

HEALTH REPORTING ! I have not experienced new or worsening symptoms of possible COVID-19 in the last 14 days, including cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, feeling feverish or a temperature greater than 100° F. I have not had close contact with a person symptomatic or confirmed to have COVID-19 in the last 14 days. ! I have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days. If l have been infected by COVID-19 at any time, I have been medically released to return to normal activities. ! If I develop a fever and symptoms, such as a cough or difficulty breathing, or if I am diagnosed with COVID-19 within 14 days of this event, I will report this information to the Afghan Hound Club of Northern New Jersey. ! Should symptoms develop during the event, I will report symptoms to the Afghan Hound Club of Northern New Jersey Show Chairs and immediately leave the event.

Any person violating the waiver rules regarding masks, distancing or wrist band propriety may be subject to prosecution under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania COVID 19 Executive Order, as well as AKC misconduct complaint, either of which may result in immediate expulsion from the grounds.
