Dark Green Rosette Open Dogs Winners (Same Classes for Bitches) NOTE: Novice & Amateur-Owner-Handler Classes Not Offered Best of Breed Competition 3 Parade of Veterans - This class is open to Afghan Hound dogs/Bitches who are at least 7 years old on the day of the show. This class is to honor those older dogs and bitches and is non-competitive. Veterans in this class will not be allowed to compete in any Regular or Non-Regular Class at this show. Veterans need not be Champions but must be AKC registered. Please fill out the form included on Page 8 and return it to the Event Secretary. Parade of Rescue Dogs - This class is a non-competitive parade open to any Afghan Hound who was placed, adopted or otherwise obtained other than being purchased from a breeder. Dog need not be entered in Regular Class to enter. Spayed and Neutered dogs are eligible. Please fill out the form included on page 8 and return it the Event Secretary. Show Regulations There will be no charge for admittance of parking. Grounds will open at 8:00 A.M. on Saturday morning. No space for unentered dogs. Please bring your own chairs and shade. YOU MUST CLEAN UP YOUR GROOMING AREA AND AFTER YOUR DOG. Grooming will be done next to your vehicle. Vehicles must execute social distancing. No grooming tent will be provided. Come to Ready Ring as your class is called. All exhibitors must execute social distancing. SWEEPSTAKES- PM SHOW Judge: Billy Webb The Sweepstakes is open to all Afghan Hounds who, on the opening day of the show, will be six months and under eighteen months of age. Entry fee is $20.00 to be paid in addition to the Regular Class entry fee. All entries in the Sweepstakes MUST also be entered in a Regular Breed Class. The Sweepstakes class should be shown as an Additional Class on the same entry form used to enter the dog or bitch in a Regular Class. Classification Dogs, 6 months and under 9 months Dogs, 9 months and under 12 months Dogs, 12 months and under 18 months (Same Classes for Bitches) Prize Money After 35% deduction for Sweepstakes show expenses, the remaining entry fees will be divided as prizes within that class as follows: First Prize . 50% of the entry money in that class Second Prize . 25% of the entry money in that class Third Prize . 15% of the entry money in that class Fourth Prize . 10% of the entry money in that class SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES The Afghan Hound Club of Northern New Jersey offers Rosettes for Best in Sweepstakes, Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes and First through Fourth in Each Sweepstakes Class. Follow through park to "Knob Hill Grove/Parking Lot C" on the right. From Route 206 Southbound Take Route 206 to Dukes Parkway. Go through the U-turn and cross back over Route 206. Follow Dukes Parkway to the end, and turn right onto Main Street. Go through the center of Manville.
