Besides, there are thousands of linear meter various underground services including water supply, drainage box culltvert, high voltage cable, district cooling pipe, etc. located in site coverage area. One of project challenges is to divert a 900mm dia. drainage pipe by adopting trenchless methodology which involves deep excavation and pipe jacking works. The nearest work distance to the MTR tunnel is just less then 6m. The speakers will share their experience at work planning stage and measures that taken in dealing with those highlighted challenges and risks to complete the whole diversion works.
