Newell Rubbermaid's Supply Chain Management Development Program is a key component of our world-class operational strategy. As part of this two-year program, you will participate in four, six-month assignments in four of the below rotation categories. You will have an opportunity to work with a broad range of products in a variety of environments. This role offers a competitive salary and relocation assistance. Rotation categories as well as possible roles and responsibilities include:

* Strategic Projects- Supply Chain Excellence (OPEX, Lean techniques), Supply Chain Engineering,

* Engineering- Quality (Manufacturing, Supplier), Operational Excellence, Packaging Engineering, Product Testing, CAD/CAM

* Sourcing- Direct/Indirect Sourcing, Supplier Quality, Negotiation, Contractual Agreements, Supplier Selection, Financial Metrics, Make vs. Buy Analysis, Packaging Sourcing

* Manufacturing- Quality Engineering, Production Planning/Scheduling, Safety/Ergonomics, Supply Chain Excellence (OPEX, Lean techniques), Facility layout, TPM, Process flow, Supervision

* Logistics- Logistics, Transportation, Distribution, Inventory Management

* Planning- Production Planning/Scheduling, , Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Global Requirements, Supply Logistics Job Requirements:

* Completed Bachelors or Masters degree from a 4-year program in Operations, Engineering, Logistics or related field before program start in July 2014.

* Seeking to learn and practice the trade of a consumer products-related business through a fast-paced, high energy, dynamic position.

* 0 - 2 years of full time or part time work or internship experience highly preferred

* Qualified candidates must have a proven record of commitment, ambition and drive toward establishing and achieving goals.

* Candidates must also be able to work as part of a team and have demonstrated ability.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential to this position.

* MDP participants will complete their four rotations in two separate locations and must be able to relocate within the continental United States. Rotation locations could include: Atlanta, GA; Oakbrook, IL; Huntersville, NC; Ogden, UT; Shelbyville, TN; Maryville, TN; Gorham, ME; East Long Meadow, MA; Winchester, VA.
