voices, another enticing component of Lily and Madeleine’s music is the fact that they quite liter- ally play a part in it as well: on recordings and in concert, the sisters consistently switch with each other on keyboards and the electric guitar, while their two close friends accompany on drums and a cello. Being a small and relatively unknown duo, the cost of seeing the sister act live is under $20 a ticket. This, coupled with their simple yet elegant music, combines to create a worthy evening of highly enjoyable music. Their clean vocals on record- ings are almost exactly replicated live, making them an ideal choice for a night of listening to local, up-and-coming artists.
