The Ruth Memorial Essay Contest Ruth Hartman’s passing in August 2020 is a reminder of all the sacrifices all the veterans have contributed to our country. Honor Flight Tri- State wants students ages 13-18 to remember our history, as we get closer and closer to Veterans Day on November 11th. This essay contest will be a way to reflect and connect our younger generation to our veterans.Essays must be received no later than copies available in October 23, 2020 and there is a $1000 grand prize.
