Animal Kingdom Park Hours: 9:00Am - 7:00Pm Sunday April 17th - Animal Kingdom Park Hours: 9:00am - 7:00pm When you arrive at Animal Kingdom your expedition will allow you to take in the beautiful savannah views from Kilimanjaro Safaris! The intricate details of this park are incredible- look closely at the amazing habitats of the animal residents, along with the artifacts found in some of the ride queues! See how many animals you can find in the Tree of Life, and be sure to listen for the sounds of native musicians as you stroll throughout the lands! *Note: If your day gets off track from the itinerary times, simply ignore the actual times and do the attractions in the order in which they are listed. Animal Kingdom TIP - Be sure to look for DiVine- the moving foliage! She can often be found on the pathway between Africa and Asia and her movements are much like a ballet- she is incredibly beautiful to watch! She walks on very high stilts and is covered in ivy and leaves. She blends in so flawlessly with the trees that you will have to look really hard to find her! 9:12am - Expedition Everest (33) - Embark on an epic adventure through the Himalayan Mountains, but beware of what awaits you as you reach the summit! The legend of the Yeti is real and you are about to come face to face with him on this fast paced rollercoaster that goes both forward and backward! *Note: 44” Height Requirement- use the Rider Switch option if everyone wishes to ride. Another option is the single rider for a quick ride if you are ok to ride alone. 9:42am - Kilimanjaro Safaris (17) - Ride through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve on an amazing journey that will take you on a tour of a breathtaking African Savannah! This sanctuary is dedicated to the preservation of many African animals including cheetahs, crocodiles, elephants, flamingos, okapis and lions. Have your camera ready- some of the animals love to come in for a close-up! 10:26am - Wildlife Express Train (19) - ride this rustic locomotive that travels behind-the-scenes from Harambe, Africa to Rafiki’s Planet Watch (26). Stop at Rafiki’s Planet Watch and enjoy any of these attractions: Affection Section (29) - meet and greet friendly animals at the only petting zoo in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Conservation Station (28) - enjoy an in-depth look at animal habitats from around the globe and discover the expert care the park animals receive. Habitat Habitat (27) - an outdoor discovery trail featuring cotton-top tamarin monkeys All aboard the Wildlife Express Train (26) - Travel back from Rafiki’s Planet Watch to Harambe, Africa. 11:45am - Festival of the Lion King (16) (12:00 am showtime) - Recently reimagined, this is an amazing puppetry based Broadway-style interpretation of The Lion King. The show is presented as theatre-in-the-round and features magnificently costumed singers who lead the tribal celebration! Audience members are invited to join in the fun and pageantry! Hakuna Matata! 12:32pm - Lunch! We suggest Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafe' (38) - for yummy Asian inspired food like honey chicken, orange beef, mandarin chicken salad, and sweet & sour chicken. 1:27pm - Maharajah Jungle Trek (31) - A self-guided tour of Southeast Asia will bring you close to tigers, bats and even a Komodo dragon! 2:00pm - Pangani Forest Exploration Trail (18) - A self-guided walking tour where you can get a great view of hippos, gorillas, birds and fish! 2:31pm - Discovery Island Character Landing (across from 8) - Meet your favorite classic characters Daisy and Donald. 2:52pm - It’s Tough to be a Bug! (5) - This 3D film and live show will let you see the world from a bug’s point of view! *Note: This attraction is very dark and loud. It may be scary for young children under age 4. 3:08pm - Meet your Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost (Discovery Island) (7) - Mickey and Minnie will be in their expedition gear! This is a great photo opportunity for everyone in the family! 3:45pm - Finding Nemo - The Musical (44) (3:00 pm showtime) - This 40 minute show is a Broadway-style presentation featuring theatrical puppetry, dancing and music! Fun fact: This is the first time that Disney has taken a non- musical animated feature and transformed it into an original musical production! 4:39pm - Primeval Whirl (45) - Spin and slide on a time-machine coaster back to the dinosaur age through a madcap maze of curves and drops.*Note: 48” height requirement. Use the Rider Switch option if needed. 4:55pm - TriceraTop Spin (46) - The kids can spin through the air on their very own Dinosaur! 5:09pm - DINOSAUR (47) - Take off on a scary, prehistoric tour aboard a rip- roaring Time Rover to save a dinosaur from extinction.*Note: 40” height requirement- This is a dark, loud and bumpy ride. We do not recommend this for young children under age 4. Use the Rider Switch option if needed. 5:30pm - The Boneyard (42) - Enjoy this open-air play area designed to look like a dinosaur dig site. 6:00pm - Dinner! We suggest Flame Tree BBQ (9). They have amazing, you guessed it, BBQ ribs, chicken, freshly tossed salad and turkey legs. The kids can get their meals in a pail with shovel for future expeditions. 6:45pm - If you are up for a water ride you can brave the waters on Kali River Rapids (32) - Be aware that this is a very wet ride! We suggest wearing ponchos! *Note: 38” height requirement. Use the Rider Switch option if needed. • Difference Between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom
Difference Between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom www.differencebetween.com Key Difference – Magic Kingdom vs Animal Kingdom Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are two popular theme parks of Disney World. Magic Kingdom was the first theme park to be opened (in 1971) at Disney World Resort in Florida. Animal Kingdom, built in 1998, was the fourth theme park at Disney World Resort. As their names suggest, the key difference between Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom is their themes; Animal Kingdom is themed around nature, animals and environmental conservation whereas Magic Kingdom is themed around concepts of magic and fairytales. What is Magic Kingdom? Magic Kingdom, opened on 1971, was the first theme park at Walt Disney World. To date, this remains the most popular destination of Walt Disney World. Birthday parties, sports events, play dates, food preparation, clean-up duties and you know the list goes on… We are teaching our children to learn that we should work hard first and then take the time to enjoy each other’s company as a family in order to celebrate our triumphs and our love for each other. We decide that we (mom and dad) need a family vacation, during which time we will surely celebrate each other. This time, Anthony and Christopher celebrate a new sister, Sarah. We need to make sure that the place where we choose to vacation is clean, safe, has the basic modern needs such as reliable water, high-end food and hospitals nearby. The destination must be able to keep all three children happy and occupied. These needs will quickly elimi- nate a number of travel hotspots. Although we have visited Walt Disney World in the past; we almost immediately de- cide that we all would be happiest together and individually if we returned again with little Sarah.
