Page 4 Wellington/Napoleon School News Congratulations to these 5th graders who won the Tar Wars poster Students of the Month contest for our school: Amanda Hearn, Kayla Johnson, Aaron Dehn An extra Congrats to Amanda Hearnes’ Tar Wars poster which won 1st place in the state contest!!!! She will receive a check in the amount of $100, a certificate, a paid trip to Washington D.C. for the national conference , and will be featured on the front page of the Missouri Academy of Family Physician’s magazine! Page 8 High School Seniors Honored for Outstanding Educational Achievement The Fort Osage School 12 members of the class of 2014 from the Fort Osage Career and Technology Center have received the High Schools that Work Award of Educational Achievement. The Southern Regional Education Board gives this award to high school seniors who District, Staff and Board have completed a challenging program of study and demonstrated readiness for employment and for college. The Southern Regional Education Board is a multi-state compact for education, founded in 1948.
