Reinhardt University invites YOU to join us in the experience of a lifetime: Discover the commerce, intellectual culture, music, and art of the Renaissance. Join Dr. Dana Hall, Dr. Martha Shaw, and Dr. Mark Roberts 14 days / & Italy, May 2021

Travel through Germany from the Museum of the Gutenberg Press in Mainz to Heidelberg, and on to Neuschwanstein in southern Germany before crossing through (via Innsbruck) to Italy, where you’ll visit Venice, Florence, Assisi, and Rome. This is your chance to explore and experience the explosion of commerce, culture, knowledge, literacy and the arts of the Renaissance. • Understand the staggering impact of the Renaissance period and the arts and intellectual culture that resulted. • Personally experience the places, the inventions, and the people that shifted access to culture, knowledge, religion, education, and the arts that continue to benefit us today. • Learn how commerce was the engine behind the rise of the middle class and its quest for knowledge and culture.

We are partnering again with EF (Education First) Tours. Reinhardt students have already gone to Ireland, Greece, Cuba, Great Britain, and Ecuador, and this new trip promises to maintain the same high standards.

Cost for non-students: Alums, Faculty, Staff and Friends of Reinhardt over the age of 30 will pay approximately $5,220 (double occupancy) and includes the entire package, which does include airfare (from Atlanta)., You will also be in a room for two with a private bath. An additional $200 for tips will be collected by Dr. Shaw before leaving. You will be responsible for securing your passport and taking any additional money for baggage, shopping, meals or snacking.

Alums, Faculty, Staff and Friends of Reinhardt under the age of 30 will pay approximately $4,740 for the entire package, which does include airfare. You may/may not be in a room limited to just two people with a private bath. You may be housed just like the students, which may include up to 4 sharing a room and maybe a private bathroom. An additional $200 for tips will be collected by Dr. Shaw before leaving. You will be responsible for securing your passport and taking any additional money for baggage, shopping, meals or snacking.
