MEN’S BASKETBALL (3) Originally known as the Mid-South Conference, the GSC North Alabama (1979, 91) was formed by six universities in the summer of 1970: Delta Jacksonville State (1985) State, Florence State (now North Alabama), Jacksonville WOMEN’S BASKETBALL (7) State, Livingston (now West Alabama), Tennessee-Martin and Delta State (1975, 76, 77, 89, 90, 92) Troy State.
