U N I T E D S T A T E S A I R F O R C E CAPTAIN ALEXANDER F. PAGANO Capt Alexander F. Pagano is currently a Logistics Career Broadening Officer assigned to the Ogden Air Logistics Complex. He was competitively selected to be developed as acquisition, supply chain, and maintenance leader in the Air Force and joint logistics systems. He is gaining valuable knowledge and experience in managing acquisition, logistics, and product support aspects of the Air Force logistics system through rotational assignments in various functional areas throughout the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC). Capt Pagano earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Arizona State University in 2010 where he also received a commission from Air Force Reserve Officer Training School (ROTC). He was first assigned to Shaw AFB, S.C. where he became the Tiger Aircraft Maintenance Unit, Officer in Charge, responsible for the maintenance on a squadron of F-16CG aircraft as well as all associated support equipment and training for all assigned personnel. Capt Pagano deployed as the Maintenance Operations Officer of the 79th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron in Southwest Asia. He aided in the buildup of a bare base ensuring the ability to fly and sustain combat operations. Prior to his current position, the Captain was Operations Officer, 89th Maintenance Group, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland where he is responsible for the transport of the Vice President of the United States, Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense and other senior leaders.
