In the never-ending quest to create summer fun and family memories, parents spend hours planning vaca- tions and family outings. That’s just what our family did recently. Chattanooga State’s softball pro- gram was among the elite in the jun- ior-college ranks, and Wilkerson figured she’d have a chance to compete for a national title there. In her first season at Chattanooga State, the team did more than compete for the title, it won the whole thing.
