    About - Tim Cindric Bio March 22, 2008 Tim Cindric President, Penske Performance Tim Cindric, 39, was named President of Penske Performance, Inc. in November 2005 as part of a consolidation of Penske Performance entities. As President, Cindric has management responsibility for Penske Performance operations that include teams competing in NASCAR, the IndyCar Series and the American Le Mans Series. Since 1999 Cindric has been President of Penske Racing, Inc. with management responsibility of Team Penske, Penske Cars, Ltd., Racing Experience, Inc., Penske Technology Group and Penske Motorsports, Inc. During his eight years with Penske Racing, Cindric has led the Team Penske Indy car program to 35 wins, including four Indy 500 victories, three championships and 51 pole positions, including three at the Indianapolis 500. He’s helped the team win the Indianapolis 500 with Helio Castroneves in 2001 and 2002, Gil de Ferran in 2003 and Sam Hornish Jr. in 2006. In addition, Cindric has overseen three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victories,14 pole positions and two Nationwide Series wins with Kurt Busch in 2006. He also started Penske’s ALMS Porsche program in 2005 and has amassed two LMP2 titles, 19 wins (nine overall) and 21 pole positions (eight overall).
