MAKER’S STORY Artisan Organization: Raksha Nepal

Muna became trapped in exploitation at a young age and was tricked into working at a brothel for two years.

At 14, she was rescued by Raksha Nepal where she received complete aftercare along with vocational training. Today, Muna is inspiring other girls as a member of Raksha’s leadership team.

Raksha is responsible for the rescue and rehabilitation of 790 children and has provided vocational training for over 500 women. It is these women who created the 100% cotton bags in the Wool Dryer Balls Collection.

The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation is committed to empowering women by investing in small business and fair-trade enterprises like Raksha Nepal.
