LOCATION Kiwi English Academy is located in the centre of Newmarket, Auckland.

REGISTRATION AND ACCREDITATION Kiwi English Academy is registered as a private training establishment (PTE) by NZQA and has NZQA approval to deliver some NCEA Level 1 and 2 standards as part of its unique high school preparation course.

CODE OF PRACTICE KEA is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Kiwi has approval to enrol individual students from the age of 11 and young group students from the age of 10.

TOEIC TEST CENTRE KEA offers regular TOEIC tests.

QUALITY TUITION KEA keeps classes small – to a maximum of 12 students at our Newmarket campus to ensure individual attention for every student.

CURRICULUM Centred around the CEFR the KEA curriculum offers a dual pathway for our senior students:

GENERAL includes General English, Business English, and Volunteer Programmes. Our Online Executive Programme provides English classes to offshore executives through our tailored video-conference platform.

JUNIOR SCHOOL

STUDENTS AGED 11+

CURRICULUM Our unique high school preparation programme is fully accredited by New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) and students are able to gain portable credits in National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) levels 1 and 1 in selected subjects. Specialist maths and science classes introduce students to the technical vocabulary of those subjects and help ease the transition into the New Zealand education system.

Short-term students also enjoy our English plus Activities programmes that run on a seasonal basis.

Most students enjoy Kiwi hospitality and learn more about the local lifestyle by staying with one of our carefully chosen homestay families. Students studying at the Junior Campus and those who are under 18 years old must stay in a KiwiCare approved homestay.
