PRIVATE HOUSING MURSHID 2014 Brief on Real Estate Union Real Estate Association was established in 1990 by a distinguished group headed by late Sheikh Nasser Saud Al-Sabah who exerted a lot of efforts to establish the Association. Bright visionary objectives were the motives to establish the Association. The Association works to sustainably fulfil these objectives through institutional mechanisms, which provide the essential guidelines and controls. The Association seeks to act as an umbrella gathering the real estate owners and represent their common interests in the business community, overseeing the rights of the real estate professionals and further playing a prominent role in developing the real estate sector to be a major and influential player in the economic decision-making in Kuwait. The Association also offers advisory services that improve the real estate market in Kuwait and enhance the safety of the real estate investments, which result in increasing the market attractiveness for more investment. The Association considers as a priority keeping the investment interests of its members and increase the membership base to include all owners segments of the commercial and investment real estate. Summary Private housing segment is the single most important segment of real estate industry in Kuwait. The land parcels zoned for private housing account for 78% of all land parcels in Kuwait and the segment is the main source of wealth (as family houses) for most of the households. This report is written with an objective to provide a comprehensive analysis of this segment with the historical trends of prices, rental activities, and impact of land features on property prices. -

A study of the developmental stages and location variables of health care services can facilitate understanding location characteristics for a progressive perspective to achieve optimal standards of health care service. This study focuses on the 17 public health centers lo- cated within the districts of the Capital Governorate, State of Kuwait. The scientific methodology that is used in this study is based on a spatial and geo-statistical analysis of public health centers. The results of this applied analysis highlight the inadequacies of the current management system running public health facilities in the State of Kuwait. -

Received: 16 September 2020; Accepted: 17 November 2020; Published: 25 November 2020 Abstract: Researchers have developed various approaches for exploring the spatial information, temporal patterns, and Twitter content in topics of interest in order to generate a better understanding of human behavior; however, few investigations have integrated these three dimensions simultaneously. This study analyzes the content of tweets in order to conduct a spatiotemporal exploration of the main topics of interest in Kuwait in order to provide a deeper understanding of the topics people think about, when they think about them, and where they tweet about them. To this end, we collect, process, and analyze tweets from nearly 120 areas in Kuwait over a 10-month period. The study’s results indicate that religion, emotions, education, and public policy are the most popular topics of interest in Kuwait. Regarding the spatiotemporal analysis, people post more tweets regarding religion on Fridays, a holy day for Muslims in Kuwait. -

Read Full License Page 1/11 Abstract Background: Environmental lead (Pb) exposure is a public health problem in many developing and industrialized countries. Being a petrochemical industry- based economy, Pb levels are expected to be high in Kuwait but systematic data on population exposure are lacking. This study aimed at determining the prevalence of Pb toxicity in adolescents in Kuwait. Methods: Adolescents (N=1385; age range 11-16 years) were cross-sectionally selected from public middle schools from all Governorates of Kuwait, utilizing multi-stage cluster random sampling. Pb in whole blood was analyzed by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. Pb levels among Governorates and genders were compared by median test and the prevalence of Pb levels above the CDC cutoff (≥5 µg/dL) was estimated by x2 test. Multiple logistic regression was used for association between prevalence of high Pb levels and Governorate. Results: Median (IQR) Pb was 5.1(3.6 – 7.1) µg/dL [4.9 (3.8 6.5) µg/dL in males and 5.4 (3.3-7.6) µg/dL in females; p=0.001].
