Clinton walked off Burlington 4-3 in 10 innings on Monday night before repeating the feat Cedar Rapids 21-20 1.5 in game two of the doubleheader on Tuesday night. Both walk-off wins came in unorthodox ways. Monday night, Midwest League (West) Clinton rallied for two runs, winning on a bases loaded hit-by-pitch. In Tuesday’s walk-off win, the LumberKings Kane County 20-20 2.0 23-19 T1st 0.0 GB loaded the bases with nobody out only to see a lineout of a double play that doubled the runner off the bag at Beloit 19-21 3.0 Last Night: Doubhleheader third for the second out. Still Clinton put runners at second and third when Eugene Helder rolled a ball to second Wisconsin 21-24 3.5 GM 1 vs. Burlington L, 4-0 (7) that was misplayed twice by Bees second basemen Julio Garcia before he threw it down the right field line for a Burlington 18-25 5.5 walk-off win via an error.
