Burlington scored a run in the second on an RBI single by Morgan McCullough and added a run in the third when a pop up by Keinner Pina dropped into shallow right field, allowing Spencer Griffin to Midwest League • Second Half score. The Captains pulled back within one run in the fourth when Cody Farhat tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly to second baseman Justin Jones, where Jones raced back to make an over-the-shoulder catch in right-center. The Bees added a final run in the fifth on an RBI single by Griffin. Burlington’s pitchers held the Captains to just two hits.
