Iowa will counter with RHP Mike Hauschild. The Kerrigan (9) Clippers are 24-29 (.453) against right handers this year. Hauschild has never pitched against the Clippers in his career. Highlights Alex Call went 3x4 with a pair of vs. the Cubs homers and 3RBI. Gabriel Columbus hammered the Cubs in the first series between the two this year, taking five of six in Des Moines (outscored Iowa 40-29). Arias was 3x5 with a triple and Individually, Connor Marabell has hit .500 (8x16) with a HR and 7RBI against the Cubs in 5G, while Nolan Jones has hit .421 (8x19) Gavin Collins went 2x5 with with a HR and 2RBI in 6G. Golden Gophers The trip to Minnesota was not kind for Columbus pitching, as they gave up 17HR in 6G (tied for most allowed in a series this year, 5/25- 5/30 vs. Nashville). After a terrific start to the season (1HR in first 6G), the Clippers are now tied with Charlotte at the bottom of the IL with 95HR allowed. They've given up a long ball in nine straight (22HR total) for the second time this year (5/21-5/30, also 22HR). Miller reached the threshold to qualify for the batting title Friday and is now sitting in 8th place in the IL (ranked 3rd prior to promotion).
