Business Intelligence Team (Data Analysis) – The team undertakes collection, collation and analysis of pupil and attainment data from settings, schools, academies and Post 16 Providers throughout the county. We also provide support, advice and training around a number of education performance systems including Perspective Lite, Key To Success and COLLECT. The team also manages the service level agreements for FFT Aspire and the School Census.

Herefordshire Council’s Adult and Community Learning team offer a wide range of courses for adults aged 19+ in a variety of subjects such as English, Maths, Crafts and IT as well as family learning (learning with your child) that takes place in a variety of venues county-wide including children centres and schools. Courses are either free or low cost and designed to enhance the lives of local people.Here are a few examples of what other school are currently offering in Herefordshire:- The following course are free to learners:- English & Maths qualifications for parents and parenting skills Esol for parents, craft sessions, ICT for parents and exercise sessions.

Early Help
The service supports vulnerable families who are either at level 2 or 3 on the Herefordshire levels of need pathway to improve the outcomes of children, young people and their families. Support to families is accessed through completion of an EHA (Early Help Assessment). Early Help will support professionals in completing EHA’s, coordinate EHA’s and facilitate FNM (Family Network Meetings) throughout the county. Early Help family support will support the whole family working to agreed outcomes in the Herefordshire Family Outcomes Framework.
Young Carers Support Service Herefordshire Council is now delivering the young carer service. The service will assess the needs of the young carer and their family, agrees a support plan with the family, then supports them to achieve this.
This service works with the young carer service delivered by Herefordshire Carers but will be leading on the completion of statutory young carers assessment when requested by a family.

Families First - The Families First programme in Herefordshire is the local response to the national Troubled Families initiative with the ambition to make lasting positive changes to the lives of the most vulnerable families and communities across the county. The Families First Programme aims to work with families who have problems relating to:
Parents and children involved in crime or anti-social behaviour; Children who have not been attending school regularly; 9

The Safeguarding and Family Support service is responsible for serving the most vulnerable children and young people in Herefordshire. The service is delivered through the following teams:
Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is a partnership between Herefordshire Children’s Social Care, Education, Health Services, Police and the Probation service working together to safeguard children and young people. Child In Need Teams – North/South The CIN service offers support to those children, young people and families who meet level 3 and 4 on the Herefordshire’s Level of Need and Service Response Framework. Social workers support those children identified as ‘Children in Need’ and safeguard those subject of a Child Protection Plan.

Looked After Children Our Looked After Children (LAC) Team works with children and young people who are in care up to the age of 16. In Herefordshire the looked after children team is split into two hubs the Court Hub and the Long Term Hub. The hub’s provide a high quality service to children who are unable to live at home and are placed with foster carers, family and friends carers or live in residential homes.

Adoption Team The Herefordshire Adoption Service recruits, assesses and supports adoptive parents; finding placements for Herefordshire children with a plan for adoption; counselling and supporting birth families whose children have a plan of adoption; preparing children for the transition from foster care to their adoptive families. Placement support is a real strength across our adoption service, as we strive to achieve permanence and the very best outcomes for our children in care.

Fostering Team Herefordshire Fostering Team recruit, train, assess and approve general; family and friends carers’ We match children to foster families and provide ongoing support.
