We are filled Hwith pride, with gratitude, and we have so much to celebrate. The Pink Pages Directory was one of the first print publications to usher the beginning of “The Village” in Toronto. Reaching 25 years in publishing is not an easy feat for any publication, let alone an LGBTQ one; we are now one of the oldest print publications in the whole world for LGBTQ folks. We are also one of the most successful publications of its kind in the world. That is all due to the strength of our community here in Canada, so we have all of you to thank for this success. Over the last 4 years we expanded our reach, first to include Ottawa, followed by an expansion to Southern Ontario. In April 2014 we launched our new website (www. thepinkpagesdirectory.com) as our next step in going Ontario wide in print, and Canada wide and into the United States online. The new website is easier to navigate, includes more advertising options for businesses, and is set up for social media sharing. We are also very proud of our professional associations. The Pink Pages Directory is the “Official Directory of Ontario Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce”, the “Partner Directory of Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce”, and the “Partner Directory of Travel Gay Canada”. Other than the directory, in Toronto we also publish PinkPlayMags (www.pinkplaymags.com), a most loved magazine now entering a 7th successful year, and our newest magazine for entertainment and party theBUZZ (www.thebuzmag.ca), which launched in June 2014 to unprecedented fanfare. Check them out, they are a lot of fun. The collective of our publications are the “Media Parter” of Church & Wellesley Village in Toronto (The Village), and nationally we are the “Media Partner” of PFLAG Canada, plus many other community organizations that we are proud to support and be associated with. That’s because when we think of media and business, we think of a community first, of people working together, supporting each other, and creating commerce and communities where one person’s success brings success to others. Thank you. Thank you our wonderful community for two and half decades of love and support. We work our hardest to give you publications you can be proud of. You are the reason for our existence. Our advertisers, you do know how much we appreciate you. We believe in you and your businesses, and we are thrilled to offer you a platform to connect with our LGBTQ community. Here is to a very successful 2014-2015 Antoine Elhashem Publisher 25th Year Anniversary j Thank you for your love and support 4 August 25, 2014 A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM THE PREMIER I am delighted to congratulate The Pink Pages Directory on the publication of their 25th Anniversary Milestone Edition.
