Artwork by G.Noelle Ruiz Whiting Sports Whiting Middle School’s Wrestling Team By Mateo Regalado Wrestling is a sport where you fight someone using your hands, feet, and body. There are a series of matches and you wrestle people based on your weight class. This sport is pretty painful when you're in middle school, it’s even worse when you wrestle in high school. The coach of the WMS Wrestling team is Mr. Reese, a Social Studies teacher in the High School. He teaches how to attack, and escape moves when wrestling. It takes a lot of practice to become good at wrestling. The practice is held in the Nathan Hale Elementary School Gym. It starts from 5-7 pm. When you are in a match, you wear a singlet, a combination of a sleeveless shirt and a short. You have to wear a certain type of shoes. They need to be one half or one smaller than your running shoe size. The team players are Arthur Ledezma, Edward Mansfield, Sean Steele, Kaiden Kender, Levi Huffman, and Emanuel Macias. These players are destined to be the best ones Whiting Middle School has ever had. Will they, or will they not? Time will tell for our middle school wrestling team. Have you ever participated in or even heard of Science Olympiad? If you haven't, no worries because I'm here to give you an overview of what this unique club has to offer.! The Science Olympiad is a club hosted for students at Whiting Middle School. The club is lead by Mr. Lowe. Students participate in Science Olympiad in person and online as well. There are MANY activities to participate in! For example, one topic I'm doing is heredity. Some other examples of topics you can participate in for Science Olympiad are road scholar, food science, disease detectives, and anatomy. Depending on your category, you might get to build a project, and test it out to see if it works! By doing research and projects and testing them out you can expand your knowledge about Science and the world! Many fun facts and scientific thing can be learned by joining! You can actually earn a medal for all that hard work you put in during your time in Science Olympiad by competing in state tournaments. You should join next year for all the fun you can have and also for the love of scientific discoveries. DID YOU KNOW?

I’m pretty sure that you’ve heard of the famous Five Nights at Freddy’s games with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and much more, but what if I told you that there were books. Five Nights at Freddy’s fans won’t want to miss this pulse-pounding collection of three novella-length tales that will keep even the bravest game player up at night. Scott Cawthon, the creator, came out with some spectacular books, this series is called Fazbear Frights they’ve become a big hit. If you like bone chilling stories to make you jump out of your skin then these are the books for you, they are perfect for any Five Nights at Freddy’s fans. In these books, Scott Cawthon spins three sinister stories from different corners of his series’ canon. Each book comes complete with cover artwork from the games artist LadyFiszi (Emese Szigetvári),who brings the horror to life in startling new ways. In this startling world, desperate wishes having an unexpected consequence, beautiful trinkets reveal appalling powers, and harmless pranks can go awry in ghastly ways.The question that most people ask themselves is, “What do I wish for?” or “What do you wish for?” Well, in book one that’s a question that Oswald, Sarah, and Millie think they know the answer to. Oswald wishes his summer wasn’t so boring to where all he did was go to the library and eat at Jeff’s Pizza Place, Sarah wishes to be beautiful until she finds a robot that changes her and her life until a twisted effect happens, and Millie wishes she could just disappear from the face of the earth. But in the twisted world of Five Nights at Freddy’s their hearts’ deepest desires has an unexpected consequence. We all might know what bullying feels like or maybe you’ve never been bullied or in a bullying situation, but in book 2 after years of them being teased and kicked around, Greg, Alec, and Oscar are ready to take control of their lives. Greg decides to put up the controversial science he’s been studying to the test. Alec launches a master plot to expose his golden sister for the spoiled brat he knows she is. And Oscar, even the miniature grown-up his mom needs him to be, decides to take something he wants even though he knows it’s wrong. But in the unpredictable world of Five Nights at Freddy's, sometimes the past can take on a life of its own. To wrap it all up, I recommend these books to every Five Nights at Freddy’s fan who likes to hear a scary story every now and then. These books are mostly for people who like a little jumpscare every now and then and despite all of the wishes having an unexpected consequence, beautiful trinkets reveal appalling powers, and harmless pranks that can go badly in ghastly ways. The only thing his father Ging left was a mysterious game named Greed Island. During the anime, he completed this game with one of his three friends named Killua Zoldyck. After completing it, they each got to take one card to bring back to the real world. They chose cards that went together, meaning they could now teleport somewhere by saying the name of that specific individual. In season 4, they used this ability and decided to choose Gon's father. Animal Crossing is a social simulation video game series that was made in 2001 on the Nintendo GameCube that was developed and published by Nintendo and created by Katsuya Eguchi and Hisashi Nogami.

In the video game series, the main point of the game is to fully upgrade your house and pay off debt for each upgrade but the choice is up to you by catching bugs and fish to sell while digging up fossils and make friends with local animals on your island and friends to visit.

The player aka you will have to find many ways to live on the island you are on that Tom Nook sends you to and catch bugs, fish, and dig up fossils for an owl called Blathers. When you do stuff around the island you could sell items for bells to pay off your house loan and buy items to decorate your house and your island.

Overall, this game series is really fun to play and I recommend you will enjoy it! If you're interested in it go play Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the Nintendo switch and Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the 3ds today!
