Some distilleries have Visitor Centres, Coast others accept visitors by appointment and some are Beyond it’s fabulous Malt Whisky, Speyside and the Moray not open to the general public. Coast is a wonderfully diverse area to explore by car, bike Speyside or on foot. From the stunning beaches and high cliffs of the True Home of Malt whisky Visitor Centres and Attractions are open during the main Moray Firth to the mountains of the Cairngorm National Tourist season (April to October) and some are open Park, the area embraces a wide range of activities to suit throughout the year. In general, Visitors Centres are open everyone. Throughout Speyside, you can be assured of a true between 9.30am and 4pm but these times may vary. Highland welcome. Distilleries offer a selection of tours for visitors. A number offer free tours, others make a nominal charge and some provide connoisseurs tours ranging from £10 to £25, which provide an in-depth whisky experience. Open all the year round, it offers a unique insight into Whisky Distilling. The Speyside Cooperage is an essential part of the Speyside Whisky Industry. Here the Coopers (cask makers) manufacture casks for many of the Speyside Distilleries. Open Monday to Friday throughout the year this attraction is a must for anyone visiting Speyside.
