The pioneers of the genre led by former Metallica Dave Mustaine will be this summer in Viveiro (Lugo) with other seventy bands more to celebrate the ninth edition of a festival made by and for fans who managed to place in a main reference of this genre in Europe. After 35 years of militancy in music, a recent concert with the Symphony Orchestra of San Diego and more than 50 million albums sold with Megadeth, singer, songwriter and guitarist Dave Mustaine will reach Viveiro presenting the fourteenth album, Super Collider, with his band in an exclusive date in Spain and Portugal, before a massive legion of fans that will move mountains to see them. The public will have a unique opportunity to attend live concert of a legend of thrash metal, only one edition after enjoying another great member of the Big Four as Slayer. Do you have five minutes, even three? That’s all you need to read one article in this newsletter. If you like it, there’s more, read on. If ways that Bill still matters not, well you get the idea what we’re up to here. an occasional newsletter, Fall 2012 Incorporating Friends into Shakespeare By Blair Warner Shakespeare. The greatest playwright ever, whom many fear, including myself. But I am here to tell you that Bill is not so bad. Reading Shakespeare is less dif- ficult if you think of the plays as people you know. Not the plays, of course, but the characters in the plays. Just envision people that you know as you read the scenes—pretend they are the ones on stage. It might sound silly, but it really helped me while reading Taming of the Shrew. I imagined one of my close friends Ashley playing the role of Bianca and her younger sister Nicole playing the role of Katherina. Both sisters have personalities that can be compared to the two sisters in the play. Ashley, who is soft-spoken at times, is very nice and peaceful, like Bianca. She gets along with everyone that she meets. Nicole is much more like Katherina. She is strong-willed, says whatever happens to be on her mind, and at times can be angry. People tend to be intimidated by her mannerisms. Just like Kate in Taming. Imagining the similarities between these pairs of sisters as I read made me laugh at times, enjoying Taming more and more as I read.

20 years of the gathering of the juggalos... On this momentous occasion, we Gather together not just to celebrate the 20th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos, but to uphold the legacy of our Juggalo Family. For two decades strong, we have converged at the height of the summer season for something so much more than the concerts, the lights, the sounds, the revelry, and the circus. There is no mistaking that the Gathering is the Greatest Show on Earth and has rightfully earned the title as the longest running independent rap festival on this or any other known planet. And while all these accolades are well-deserved and a point of pride, in our hearts we know...There is so much more to this. A greater reason and purpose. A magic that calls us together. That knowing. The spirit of the tribe. The call of the Dark Carnival. The magic mists that float by as we gaze through the trees into starry skies. We are together. And THAT is what we celebrate here, after 20 long, fresh, hilarious, incredible, tremendously karma-filled years. We call this the Soopa Gathering because we are here to celebrate the superpowers of the Juggalo Family. All of us here together and united are capable of heroics and strength beyond measure. We are Soopa. We are mighty. For we have found each other by the magic of the Carnival—standing 20 years strong on the Dirtball as we see into the eternity of Shangri-La. Finding Forever together, may the Dark Carnival empower and ignite the Hero in you ALL..
