To complement the design philosophy of park, Robinia wood was used to construct many of the play structures, enhancing the natural theme of the park, through organic materials. Some highlights include the Snake, Squirrel and Birdwing play areas. The Snake play area features a climbing tower with rope play and obstacles within the structure, as well as climbing tubes and slides. The squirrel play area consists of timber nests and timber see saws. Children are able to balance on the timber logs and climb in and around the nests. The Birdwing area features high swings which are a favourite play activity, as well as a wheelchair swing and merry-go-round. In the otter play area, children can explore and learn how water flows with the water pump and sand table.
