We then head to Belém, passing by the Fort of St. Lourenço of Bugio, also known as the Tower of Bugio, situated in the middle of the mouth of the Tagus River; and by the Fort of St. Julian da Barra, considered to be Portugal’s biggest construction of coastal defense, which began being built in the XVI century during the realm of D. João III.

Dinner in the City Restaurant The restaurant is located in the heart of Lisbon’s business district, overlooking the entire city and surrounded by lush gardens. More than simply a restaurant, This is a place of culture and art, both at the table and beyond it. The architecture of the purpose-built building is modern, minimalist and organic, using natural materials like wood and decorative stones, and boasting enormous glass windows that open towards Lisbon and the river Tagus. The restaurant witnesses’ metamorphosis during the day as it adapts to the changing effect of the outside light and the views over Lisbon. Drapes, candles, soft lights, music…. all is transformed to create an atmosphere that is vibrant during the day and intimate at night. 4th day Round at Oitavos Dunes Course The focal point of Quinta da Marinha is the Championship golf course Oitavos Golf, designed by Arthur Hills. As the course became recognized internationally as a Links experience, the decision was made to change the name to Oitavos Dunes to reflect the natural sand dunes, impacts of the Ocean and Scottish like playing conditions, which all contribute to the way many view Oitavos Dunes as "Natural Links Golf.“ Last September 2011 Oitavos Dunes jumped 20 places up the list to be considered the 68th best course in the world and the second best in mainland Europe. The recognition is a result of 15 minor changes to the course, including new tees on holes 7 and 9, and the placement of sand dunes in strategic holes such as the 10th.
