Having lived in Marion County since his teenage years, he said he had many positive interactions with the deputies, representing their professional- ism, and he decided, eventually, that’s where he wanted to be. Gundle was born in Louisville, Ky., mov- ing to Indianapolis-area at 14. He graduated from Indiana University, majoring in criminal justice and minoring in sociology.
