1. Salix Alba Bark Extract Overview Salix Alba Bark Extract is extracted from dried bark of willow. Its main active components are salicin and glucan. Salicin has aspirin-like property; it is an effective anti-inflammatory ingredient traditionally used to heal wounds and relieve muscle pain. Glucan has the body's immunity. It activates cell viability, and achieves anti-inflammatory and anti-wrinkle effects. The study found that salicin is an inhibitor of oxidase (NADH oxidase), which has anti-wrinkle, increases skin gloss and elasticity. Also it reduces pigmentation, and increases skin moisture. White willow bark extract has anti-aging, anti-acne effects in cosmetics.

2. Salix Alba Bark Extract Source White willow (Latin name: Salix alba L.) belongs to deciduous tree of Salicaceae. It is native to Xinjiang, Gansu, Qinghai and other places. It is cultivated all around China, mainly distributing in the Yangtze River Basin and all parts of South China. White willow's leaves, buds, roots and bark can be used as medicine; but the cosmetics are made of dried white willow bark.

4. Salix Alba Bark Extract Benefits  Anti -aging Salicin not only affects the regulation of genes in skin, but also regulates the gene clusters involved in the biological processes of skin aging. These gene groups are called functional "young gene groups." In addition, salicin plays an important role in production and maintenance of collagen. Thus it can increases skin elasticity and achieves anti-wrinkle effect.

A study by Nu Skin has proved salicin's anti-aging effect: 30 subjects, 40 to 70 years-old women, applying 0.5% salicin essence after cleansing every day for 12 weeks.

Preparation Method:

Preparation Method: 1. Heat phase A ingredients to 80-85℃. Meanwhile, stir with the blender until it dissolves completely. 2. Cool the completely dissolved A component with cooling water and cool to 45-50℃. Then add phase B ingredients, stir well. 3. until the temperature cooling down to 40℃, add phase C ingredients. Stir well, cool to 35℃.
