LOT #1 THE BOUNTY OF SONOMA COUNTY Merry Edwards Winery

Experience the world-renowned Russian River Valley during your stay at Merry Edwards Winery’s extraordinary guest house in Forestville. This unique, 3,000-square-foot home features four en-suite bedrooms, a fully functional chef’s kitchen, stunning dining area, sauna and hot tub. The house can accommodate up to eight overnight guests (four couples). This “slice of heaven” nestled in the midst of Maefield, Merry Edwards Winery’s estate vineyard, will be stocked with a fine selection of Merry Edwards .

On the first night of your stay, you and your guests will be immediately immersed in the Sonoma Country Experience. When you arrive, you will be treated to an array of luscious cheeses, hors d’oeuvres and amazing breads made from the incredible bounty found in Sonoma County. Special wines from deep in the Merry Edwards Library will flow as you enjoy delicious bites paired specifically with each wine.

On Day 2, you will be treated to a special day in the vineyard with Merry Edwards Winemaker Heidi von der Mehden. The tour will focus on the winery’s estate properties and how careful farming translates into the enduring qualities found in Merry Edwards Winery’s single-vineyard Pinots Noirs. After visiting the vineyards, you will be treated to a tour of their working winery and cap it all off with a private tasting of their wines with Heidi.

On Day 3, take a leisurely drive up Highway 1 on the glorious Sonoma Coast to Timber Cover Lodge, where you will enjoy lunch at Coast Kitchen. As you take in the expansive ocean views, you will dine on fresh, seasonal fare from local farmers, cheese mongers, mushroom foragers and other producers of top-quality Sonoma County ingredients. Choose a thoughtfully produced cheeseboard, charcuterie or ocean-fresh seafood paired with Merry Edwards Wines.

On Day 4, head off to Healdsburg for your visit’s finale dinner, where you will be delighted by destination restaurant Valette. Located in one of ’s most beloved towns, Valette is the culmination of the vision of two brothers who grew up in Sonoma County. Dustin Valette and Aaron Garzini are pursuing their goal of creating menus showcasing the incredible bounty of our county. Be prepared for a phenomenally creative meal crafted by Chef-Owner Valette to pair with Merry Edwards Wines in the gracious environment overseen by General Manager-Owner Garzini.

When it’s time to go home, you can take your Sonoma County memories with you in the form of a Six-Bottle Horizontal Collection of Merry Edwards Pinot Noirs in 3-Liter Format as well as three Six-Bottle 750ml Vertical Collections, one each of Merry Edwards Winery’s Single-Vineyard Pinot Noirs, Sauvignon Blanc and . We hope when you open these wines, you’ll relive your adventures in Sonoma County and make new memories as you share these special treasures with friends and family.

Guest House stay, Coast Kitchen lunch and Valette dinner are for up to 8 guests and can be redeemed between Aug. 1, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2022, with 60-day notice required to schedule.
