EVENT REPORT

The government's flagship program Fit India is launching a series of interactive sessions with some of the top sports persons of the country intended to inspire the school children. It was launched by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at Indira Gandhi Stadium in on 29 August 2019.

The sessions will premiere today in the presence of Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ,Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mr. Kiren Rijiju along with badminton star PV Sindhu and Indian football team skipper Sunil Chhetri . In this session all of them have shared their childhood experience and about their success failures and struggles.

The event started with the host explaining the importance of fitness and wellness of our bodies in our lives and moved onto praise the two very important ministries of our government who have been on the path of almost making it successful till now.

PV Sindhu - She started playing badminton just for fun when she was 8 year old and she was equally good in academic and in sports her favourite subject was maths .She also said that you should play sports from your school ground level.She even mentioned that even if you win or loose a match just be humble and to be fit you should play 30-45 minute per day .

Sunil Chhetri - He said that he was from a army family background and he lived in a army area , where everyone use to wake up early and has a fixed schedule. He told tha he was very fit during his childhood as he was a army kid. He even said that he gave prior to all the sports. He also said that discipline helps to think better , when he was 13 he started to challenge her mother in different sports. He also mentioned that as a the captain of the Indian team he has to take care of his diet and his sleep hour , he has to stick to his diet for the better development of his body.

Kiren Rijiju – He said that as the National Portal of India within 8-9 months 2.5 lakh schools have registered for FIT INDIA MOMENT. He also stated that our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has launched movement for the welfare of India. He also mentioned that unfit people will not get positive idea , then he said yoga and normal exercise will help a lot to be fit and according to the earlier Indian server 70% Indians are not fit and India is rich for his traditions of sports.

Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank Human Resource Development – in his live session he said if the body is not fit then nothing is fit , you are not physically and mentally fit. He also said that you should develop you your body state and like in the ‘SAWATCH BHARAT ABHIYAN’ many people came across and even in this 11 crore people has joined the FIT INDIA MOVEMENT. He said you need to be fir to think good , fir people will think new and creative ideas. He told that they have even made an app called MISSION FIT INDIA and 1.5 crore people are there.

The conversation was ended with a fun rapid fire with all the guests where they answered fun questions about their childhood and their favourite sports personality.
