Each student created a series of three 5” x 5” paintings that were exhibited in a hallway show in Art Building I on campus. The project also involved digitally documenting and re-sizing these paintings to learn how to enter other juried exhibitions. Additionally, students learned how to compose and create in a small compositional area with relationships for painting in 14 multiples. Furthermore, Slippery Rock University’s Art Faculty jury selected one student’s artwork from this hallway exhibition to submit entry into the 5th Lessedra International Painting & Mixed Media Competition.
