The unique landscape, diversity and variety of natural and anthropogenic sightseeing, key indicators of tourist traffic signals a weak tourism phenomenon, even if they are individualized in small and medium-sized mountains with the natural exception. Being part of the small and medium mountains category, the tourism planning of Igniş - Gutâi Mountains must consider that they are component of a Territorial system. The novelty of this theme is emphasized by the way of tourist planning methodological tools which offer a different perspective to analyze the Igniş - Gutâi area. Thus, the scientific approach of this area will take into account the principles, the scientific norms and tourism planning methods and also the methods of Regional Geography and territorial systems. The starting point is the researcher‘s vision on the study area. He has seen the Igniş - Gutâi Mountains as an area subject to tourist planning, a region which provides the useful direction of research or the territorial system components cut in functional complexes. The original character is supported by the need for a territory interdisciplinary approach due to its complex structure, which can be found on the personal touch.

To the anthropic heritage belong the wooden churches and monasteries of Bucovina, and to the natural one, the varied relief, developed on a diversified lithological basis (eruptive rocks in the West, crystalline in the median area and sedimentary in the East). To all these adds up the unaltered human potential and the remarkable hospitality of the inhabitants. Three types of areas regarding the tourist organization of space have been highlighted based on the variety and level of the tourist potential, of the role in its development and its exploitation forms: areas with a complex organization, areas with a deficient organization, areas in the process of organizing themselves. © 20112011 PublishedPublished by by Elsevier Elsevier Ltd. Analele UniversităŃii din Oradea – Seria Geografie Year XXIII, no. 1/2013 (June), pp. 146-155 ISSN 1221-1273, E-ISSN 2065-3409 Article no. 231 118 -62 2 THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE IGNI Ș – GUTÂI MOUNTAIN AREA BY TYPE OF TOURISM PREDOMINANTLY Loredana PUI University of Oradea, Department of Geography, Tourism and Territorial Planning 1 Universitatii St., 410087 Oradea, Romania, e-mail: [email protected] Abstract: The Igni ș – Gutâi mountain area has a complex picturesque landscape, an attractive anthropogenic potential and a favorable position which allows national and international tourist flows. The area’s tourist profile is revealed by combining rural tourism with mountain recreational tourism, health, hunting and transit tourism. The variety of tourist potential supports the development of various types and forms of tourism which contribute to completing the current tourist offer and the area’s sustainable development. This paper aims at developing new tourist areas within the Igni ș – Gutâi mountain area, thus promoting it as a complex tourist destination. Key words: mountain area, types of tourism, tourism zoning, tourism destination INTRODUCTION One direction which has become dominant in recent years in the study of human geography in terms of sustainable mountain development is ensuring a high level of standards due to the fact that international competition has taken on a complex dimension. The systemic organization of the mountain area contributes to the development of mountain resorts and to the tourist demand and supply dynamics. Bran (1998) established that tourist demand influences environment by the tourist forms developed within the tourist destinations which are putting pressure on the environmental sustainability ability.

The paper presents data on the Palaearctic species of Chrysomelini tribe (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Chrysomelinae) preserved in the new leaf beetles Collection of “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History (Bucharest). A total of 4,442 specimens, belonging to 21 species from eight genera of tribe Chrysomelini, are listed. Among the rare species in Romanian fauna, stored in this collection, Chrysomela lapponica Linnaeus, 1758, Prasocuris junci (Brahm, 1790) and Chrysomela cuprea Fabricius, 1775 should be mentioned. Key words: Chrysomelidae, Chrysomelinae, Chrysomelini tribe, collection, “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History Bucharest. INTRODUCTION Subfamily Chrysomelinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) includes aproximately 130 genera with about 3000 species and subspecies. Most of them are widely distributed in dried tropical and temperate areas of the world, but several species occur in Arctic tundra and sandy desert. Chrysomelinae taxa are classified in two tribes, Chrysomelini and Timarchini. The monotypic tribe Timarchini occurs in the Western Palearctic and Nearctic, whereas the Chrysomelini is widespread (Bouchard et al., 2011; Reid, 2014).
