LIBRARY AND KNOWLEDGE CENTRE OPENING SOON Residents will soon be able to access a world-class community facility when the new state-of-the-art Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre opens in April. The new facility is built on the existing Bankstown Town Hall site and has some of the most sustainable elements seen in a public building. It boasts a 5,000sqm library, an impressive ‘green wall’ that covers all three levels and provides cleaner air, meeting rooms and geothermal bores that will help cool and heat the facility.
