Accordingly, Haryana PWD B&R invited tenders for engagement of DPR consultant and on the basis of bid evaluation, tender based estimate was submitted to MoRTH in favor of M/s Xplorer Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. MoRTH approved the estimate and accorded administrative approval for preparation of DPR. The consultant submitted alignment report for the Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari road and the alignment report was submitted to MoRTH for approval. Thereafter, alignment report was also approved by MoRTH. In the meantime, Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari road was identified as Feeder route under Bharatmala Pariyojna and National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) appointed M/s RITES as consultant for preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) of this road.

The project proponent submitted the case to the SEIAA as per check list approved by the SEIAA/SEAC. The case was taken up for appraisal in the 161st meeting of the SEAC held on 29.11.2017. During presentation, the Committee was informed that it is a proposed Group Housing Project at Sector-36A, Gurgaon Manesar Urban Complex, District Gurgaon Haryana by M/s Bluejays Realtech Private Limited.     , \ lfuTORY\)F LocAL GoVERNMENT A progressive account of the development of local government in the dis- trict makes interesting reading in so far as it reflects the growing importance of certain areas from time to time. The first step towards the introduction of local government was the constitution of municipalities (Class III) at Farrukh- nagar, Firozpur Jhirka and Palwal in 1864. In 1879, local Government insti- tutions were set up at Sohna (Class III municipal committee), Nuh (notified area) and Hodal (small town committee). According to the Gurgaon District Gazetteer, 1910, there were then five municipalities (Farrukhnagar, Palwal, Firozpur Jhirka, Sohna and Hodal) and four notified areas (Hadayatpur Chhaoni, Nuh, Pu:lahana and Hathin), although by the Punjab Government Notifications Nos. 674 and 679, dated the 17th November, 1908, the Farrukh- nagar an¥ohna municipalities had already been reduced to the status <?f 1 notified 'areas • Punahana notified area was abolished sometime \afterl9'12:'The L.:.tinicipalcommittees of Ballabgarht and Faridabadll (now Faridabad .old) . were included in the district with lhe merger of the Ballabgarh tahsil in 1912, thus raising the number of municipal committees again to 5, while the number of notified areas stood at 5. During the next two decades, Hadayatpur Chhaoni, Farrukhnagar, Sohna and Hathin notified areas were aholishedj, thus leaving only one notified area, viz. Nuh. In 1934, Farrukhnagar was made a small town cottlmittee. Hailey Mandi was constituted as a notified area in 1941. 1. But according to Table XLV of Statistical Tables appended to the Gurgaon District Gazetteer, 1883-84, both Nuh and Hodal were Class m municipal committees.
