Police Report - None MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS HELD ON 20th September 2017: The Minutes were approved and signed as True Records MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 20th September 2017- The clerk informed the meeting that he contacted with regard to Fly Tipping in the Lay by near the A3075. Cllr. W.C. Longden reported in fly tipping just the other side of the Smugglers Den. It was decided to report it in to Highways. We have received a further quote for the Defibrillator. Proposed by Cllr. A. Percy, seconded by Cllr. R.L.B. Spencer Resolved to purchase the internet enabled Defibrillator package from Fleet. Cllr. A. Percy reported that in the QEII park 2 fence panels have been kicked out. Cllr. A. Percy reported that for the Monkey Tree Windfarm Turbine we await the results of the appeal. Spencer reported on his attendance at the Strategic Planning Committee Meeting. It was decided that Cllr. A. Percy will check on all Section 106 commitments associated with the approval. PA17/01847 Kingsley - Cllr. R.L.B. Spencer reported on his attendance at the Planning Committee Meeting. The housing officer stated that none of the Penhale affordable housing provision is for Cubert Parish. Cllr. R.L.B. Spencer gave the view that this possibly swayed committee members to support the application. Cllr. A. Percy is seeking clarification on this matter. DIVISIONAL BOUNDARIES FOR CORNWALL Cllr. A. Percy reported on his attendance at the CALC meeting along with Cllr. W.C. Longden and Cllr. R.L.B. Spencer. Number of Cornwall Cllr.s to fall to 87. Proposal for St. Allen and Rose to join our electoral area. Proposed by Cllr. R.L.B. Spencer seconded by Cllr. T. Hulbert resolved to support the proposed changes and reply to the consultation accordingly. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN - It was decided to discuss this at the November meeting. ANY OTHER RELEVANT BUSINESS NOT REQUIRING DECISIONS AT THIS MEETING: Cllr. T. Hulbert reported on his work so far on replacement play equipment for Chapel Green. Cllr. R.L.B. Spencer updated the Parish Council of the progress on the emergency plan. Cllr. R.L.B. Spencer requested that we chase up the issue of the pavings dropping around an inspection cover in Jubilee Close with Adrian Drake. The meeting was closed at 22.32 pm. The next regular meeting to be held on Wednesday 15th Nov. 2017 at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall. 2

The Cubert and Community Benefit Trust

An annual community gain, lasting a period of 25 years, was adopted within the planning permission for the Solar Farm. The Fourth Community Gain funding from the Benefit Trust is now available.

Payment will be made for qualifying projects, which are projects or endeavours that, in the reasonable opinion of the Trustees, have measurable local community benefit, with preference given to projects that promote sustainability, which failing that, such other charitable projects or endeavours as the directors or Trustees may acting reasonably support.

This year, Cubert applications are invited for projects requiring funding not exceeding £6,600 Applications should be sent to the:

Applications should be accompanied by a statement explaining why the application conforms with the qualifying project (shown above).The application should also provide contact detail of applicant and organisation represented (where applicable), the amount of grant requested, and any details of part funding etc. Cut off date for applications is 31st December 2017.
