This covered costs and I reasoned this would allow more money to be spent on raffle tickets and our auction! We then settled in to a 90 minute interview with slideshow (thanks Lawrence!) detailing Jackie’s amazingly varied career in motorsport…….. his fractious relationship with Colin Chapman when he was parachuted into Team Lotus in 1968 after the untimely death of Jim Clark…. spells with McLaren F1 and the seemingly unreliable BRM F1 team…..
