There will be announcements at Emily Bay to advise people on race activities; all swimmers should heed advice from our Beach Officials and take extra care during this Monday morning and also keep an eye out for canoe activities at other times. The NI Wa’a Ocean Challenge Committee encourages everyone to view the sprints from the main event site at Lone Pine. ROAD CLOSURE The NIWOC Committee advises that the road at the eastern end of Emily Bay will be closed during Ocean Challenge week to ensure a safe event site for NOC rigging of canoes, paddlers, stall holders, etc. and the public.
