Senior Development Producer TV, Interactive, and Multiplatform …some selected work Legend of Dick and Dom: Questalot I pitched, developed and produced this totally gross, ludicrously disgusting, and outright hilarious webcam game experience to promote and deepen audience relationship with the Legend of Dick and Dom brand on CBBC. Built by: Fish in a Bottle Released: May 2011 Legend of Dick and Dom: Questalot Released: June 2011 An amusing, very silly, interactive webcam game experience that allows kids to form a more personal relationship with the brand and its characters by playing a series of unusual quick-play games – based on the kinds of things the Princes get up to on the TV show. In each of the games the user can use their webcam to help Dick and Dom win a particular ingredient for their potion. Each game was devised to challenge a user’s range of motor skills. Loads of different funny video clips of Dick and Dom are triggered depending on a user’s success level during game-play. http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/games/questalot-game ple: Game Exam ’ Puss Pokin ed any puss fill Pop as m you k’s face as boils on Dic 3 can. This innovative online space was devised specifically to power our brands and empower our users. Built by: TBC Scheduled Release: January 2012 CBBC Art Studio Scheduled Release: January 2012 Identifying a Channel Need With the demise of ‘SMART’, and ‘Adventure Rock – Creative Studios’, there was a hole appearing in CBBC’s public service output: to encourage creativity and self- expression. With the audience turning to the “Like” pages on Facebook as a place to produce, share, and discuss UGC for major brands, it was clear there was a crucial need for a place to facilitate great UGC across CBBC. Art Studio gives brand owners with a way to draw on our audience’s creativity through calls to action. Gives users their own space to collate and display all their artwork from across CBBC. Enables users to share and collaborate with friends. Enables CBBC to evolve the message boards into a vibrant social creative hub 15 CBBC Art Studio Example Games/Apps Alien Maker Use the Art Studio to respond to the CTA for Sarah Jane, e.g ‘Create an Alien’, ‘Redesign the Tardis’.
