IT WAS CLOSE THOUGH. In keeping with the chronic rainy, miserable weather that has plagued us over the past few weeks, Saturday could have gone either way. Threat- ening dark clouds were replaced by promising sunny periods, only to be overtaken once again by gloomy overcast and imminent downpours.
