DON’S GARAGE In the meantime, in Hilton Beach’s downtown area, it was ‘mix and mingle’ time, as RR#1 friends and neighbours greeted and chatted, with Marks Street becoming a sea of RICHARDS LANDING ON smiling faces and laughing voices … a sea that almost reluctantly parted to either bank as the now-underway parade, led by the 49th Field Regiment pipes and drums, Tel: 705 246-2545 bore down upon them. Fax: 705 246-1289 Behind them came vintage military vehicles, followed by float after float and freshly- polished cars and trucks, interspersed with a variety of characters riding, marching or simply strolling along, all accompanied by gleaming fire trucks from the Hilton Union and Jocelyn Fire departments with lights flashing and wailers wailing.
