Overview

 GROWTH is a Regional Economic Development Alliance (REDA) serving 11 members with a regional population of more than 45,000 people in North .

 The Alliance was established by the Grizzly Regional Economic Alliance Society so that Municipalities, School Divisions and Support Agencies could work collectively to address regional economic development issues.

 Monthly general Board and sub-committee meetings are held throughout the region in promotion and development of three primary initiatives that add economic development value. Woodlands County Town of Barrhead County Town of Barrhead Lac Ste. Anne County Town of Mayerthorpe County Town of Westlock Village of Clyde Pembina Hills Regional Division No. 7 Evergreen Separate Regional Division No. 2 Goal To recognize and celebrate entrepreneurship by showcasing the GROWTH Alberta region as a place to do business.

 Public recognition of outstanding businesses within the region  Nominations are unsolicited and gathered from the general public  Winners are announced to the press at a Luncheon and formally recognized at a Gala celebration.

 “I think its a very worthwhile event (sic) to recognise the hard work that people put into operating a small business. Large or small we put much of ourselves in the success of our business. I know when I received my award it made me feel I was valued as a business owner…”

Past Business Awards of Excellence Winner Goal: Promote local employment opportunities, educational choices that meet local skill requirements, and support the training and development of young entrepreneurs

 Provides a forum for approximately 1,000 youth to attend recruitment presentations by over 60 regional and outside employers, educators, and community groups. 96% of attendees rate the event’s value as excellent or very good.  Primary objective is to retain youth within the region to work, live and play

The Snow Zone Campaign!

Our The Snow Zone Campaign will encompass 8 issues with a potential readership of approximately 200,000 people within an hour of the WILD Alberta™ region. This winter based marketing campaign with include a full page colour advertorial in the early December, 2013 issue accentuated by 7 other ads throughout specific December, January and February issues. The ads will highlight and focus on the project partners accompanied by WILD Alberta™ branding. Involvement in this exciting project partnership will allow for maximum exposure to a defined target market for a fraction of the price. With a total project budget of approximately $10,000, the more participants in the project, the less the cost to you.

 GROWTH Alberta is in consultation with Environics Analytics to provide cost benefits to produce statistical data trend reports that use algorithms to forecast demographic growth, social and scholastic development opportunities.

These annual reports would include:  Standard demographic data  Social trending analysis  Education analysis trends  Occupational trend analysis  Growth potential, etc.
