Cards are made in an impressionist style and are the result of my experience and impressions of these cards through the creative process, which is why titled is, "My Impressionist Lenormand!" aka "Chakra Lenormand Oracle Meditation and Spell 54 cards deck!" Chakra means energy point and *wheel* in Sanskrit. In a way, I hope this deck will move and inspire you to learn divination with cards! Deck is based on classic Lenormand 36 cards system with 16 extra cards that I was inspired to create, making it a full 52 card playing deck with 2 extra cards, without number or playing card insertions, to serve more like jokers. They are meant to be used for divination and meditation as well as some simple *spell work. It’s up to you to decide whether you will work with the full set of 54 cards or toss out any cards you wish! This book is first from my series of decks and book sets for fortune telling cards and is written exclusively for Chakra Lenormand 36 and 54 card deck, in order to give short and simple explanations of its origin and interpretation of each card with popular spreads along with examples and illustrations. This book is based on a book I wrote for Lenormand in my series of fortune telling books and can be used with any other Lenormand deck you wish to work with but best results are achieved by working with this unique and original deck! It’s all together meant to serve as a working tool to provide help and guidance to better understand the mysterious and subtle energies that surrounds us and forces that affect our life and shape our destiny in order to learn how to work with those energies while giving fresh insight into ancient systems of oracle divination, with brief note on reiki meditation healing and much more! I hope you find this book and deck interesting to read and fun to playing with and find it all useful while learning and practicing! Brief Introduction Fortune telling cards, as well as Tarot cards, have a long history and tradition of use. Since ancient times they have been used for divination and for seeking answers to various questions. Today, there are many different types of cards and illustrations, as well as methods of their use a.k.a. spreads. Little is known about when and where first cards were made and for what purpose. Supposedly, their origin is ancient and from an area in Egypt, India and China. Cards spread into the world and became popular after the invention of the printing press, 1455th by Johannes Gutenberg. Their purpose is also a mystery but since the beginning, cards were used for play and foretelling the future. Card divination is one of the oldest methods of predicting the future. According to legend, today's Fortune telling cards owe their fame to Jean-Baptiste Alliette (known as Etteilla) and French Madam Mlle Marie-Anne Adelaide, Lenormand clairvoyant lady born in 1772nd year, and famous for predicting the future to French revolutionaries: Marat, Robespierre and Saint-Just, and the lady Josephine de Beauharn (before she became Napoleon's wife.) It’s a known fact that Madame Lenormand was familiar with all different divination methods popular at that time and was famous due to her books on the same topic. In honor of Miss Lenormand, after her death, Decks with Lenormand name and style which combine images and playing card insertions, were published; Grand jeu de Mlle Lenormand 1845 in France by Grimaud. 54 color cards related to an ordinary playing card deck, with two additional cards significators representing a male or a female querent, are sold with a set of five books describing various types of divination, including cartomancy, palmistry, astrology, numerology, and talismans. 36 card Lenormand deck with titles and images we know today and insertion of French playing cards is Petit Le Normand, published in Germany 1846. And according to resources, it is similar to 1799 German *Game of Hope deck that have the same number of cards with the same names and images and additional playing card insertions for both German and French suits. Another older black and white numbered deck with same titles/ images and verses, that could be its predecessor, was published in England in 1796 by the name Les Amusements des Allemands, and was discovered recently by Tarot scholar Mary Greer in the British

P., I find that there is, in some sections of the Hindus, a provincial spirit. Those who are coming here suffered terribly and deserve all the warmth that the Hindus of the Indian Union can reasonably give. You have rightly called them dukhi,2 though they are commonly called sharanarthis. The problem is so great that no government can cope with it unless the people back the efforts with all their might. I am sorry to confess that some of the landlords have increased the rents of houses enormously and some are demanding pagri. May I request you to raise your voice against the provincial spirit and the pagri system specially at this time of terrible suffering? Though I sympathize with the writer, I cannot endorse his analysis. Nevertheless I am able to testify that there are rapacious landlords who are not ashamed to fatten themselves at the expense of the sufferers. But I know personally that there are others who, though they may not be able or willing to go as far as the writer or I may wish, do put themselves to inconvenience in order to lessen the suffering of the victims. The best way to lighten the burden is for the sufferers to learn how to profit by this unexpected blow. They should learn the art of humility which demands a rigorous self-searching rather than a search of others and consequent criticism, often harsh, oftener undeserved and only sometimes deserved.
