I want to personally invite you and your church to our 87th Annual Alabama Youth Convention! We are excited to have Youth Convention at The Rock Family Worship Center in Huntsville on March 5th & 6th! This will be the biggest event of the year where all 350 church youth ministries come together as one! We are excited about this powerful ministry to the youth of our state through this experience, and we believe this year will be like no other.
We are truly privileged to have these speakers with us this year: JOSH CARTER (joshcarter.org) national evangelist and Youth Pastor at Calvary Christian Center, Ormond Beach, Florida, and National Youth Evangelists, MICAH MACDONALD (mac-ministries.com), and MANNY ARANGO (mannyarango.com). Leading worship throughout the weekend is DANTE BOWE, worship leader and songwriter with Maverick City Music and Bethel Music Collective. AYM is thrilled to have all our guests, and I believe that your students will be blessed and challenged by being a part of the weekend.

We understand there may be concerns about gatherings during this Covid season, and you can be assured we will be following proper protocols and state guidelines will be implemented. Space will be limited for this event. We will reserve your spots on a first come first serve basis. We know this is an inconvenience for you and we regret that, but these protocols and others are in place for the safety and well-being of our students and leaders who will be attending. We will be following the guidelines and requirements that have been put in place before and during this event and will do our part to create a safe environment. More information and details about protocols will be given as needed and leading up to the event.

I believe these meetings will challenge your youth to a closer, more intense walk with Christ, and I sincerely hope that they can be a part. We are excited to have you in attendance of the 2021 Alabama Youth Convention! We have worked hard to assure that this convention will be the greatest ever! To make that happen, we need you! The responsible supervision of your group will assist in making this a great convention for all who attend.
1. If you see any person at the convention site or hotel site abusing property or being unruly in their conduct, PLEASE INTERVENE!!! Misbehavior and property destruction at hotels is unacceptable and is a bad reflection on us all. It destroys our witness and does not advance the cause of Christ. 2. Please stress to your group the importance of proper behavior in the services. The movement of two or three can disrupt hundreds. 3. It is expected that all young people and adult leaders attend all planned functions of Convention. 4. Registered participants at this event are not allowed to possess or use tobacco, drugs, vaping products, alcohol, or weapons. Violation will result in immediate dismissal. 5. Be aware of the whereabouts of your youth group members at ALL times. Your level of responsibility is an example to your teens. 6. You are responsible for the behavior of your group. AYM cannot be held responsible for the conduct, safety, etc. of any group. Taking precautions and adhering to the guidelines will make this event enjoyable for everyone. 7. The youth group leader should make sure that all minors in his/her care have secured proper written parental/legal guardian permission and emergency medical authorization releases. 8. Both pastors and adult supervisors should review all discipline and COVID policies PRIOR to attending Convention. 9. Students and leaders who are considered high risk according to CDC standards are encouraged not to attend this year for their safety and otherwise assume responsibility for attending at their own risk. 10. Students and leaders who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19 within 10 days, are not permitted to attend. 11. All attendees must be properly screened (with COVID questions and temperature check) before leaving to attend Convention. 12. Please pray, believing that God will transform and challenge the lives of those attending Youth Convention. 13. These policies are your responsibility to enforce.
