    Marshall County, Indiana Obituaries Frederick D. Cook VanGilder Funeral Home Sunday, January 02, 2005 Frederick (Fred) D. Cook, 70, of 101 North Liberty Street, Plymouth, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2005 at 3:10 p.m. at the Hospice House in South Bend, Indiana. He was born on September 27, 1934 in Goshen, Indiana to George and Dorothy (McCloskey) Cook. Fred married Sandra Snyder, in Plymouth, on October 9, 1955. Fred was a member of the Eagles, American Legion Post # 27, and the V.F.W. Post #1162 all of Plymouth. He was in the Indiana National Guard for ten years. He worked for Cook Brothers Furniture. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; their daughter, Nancy Jo and Craig Belting of Osceola; their sons, Fred (Dan) and Lori Cook of Jackson, Tennessee, and James (Jim) Cook of Plymouth; his brothers, Dick and Mary Evelyn Cook of Plymouth and Donald and Eileen Cook of Rochester; and his sister, Joyce and Dave Roseberry of Walkerton, Indiana. Also surviving are five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Helen; and his brother, G. Edward. Services will be held Thursday, January 6, 2005 at 10:30 a.m at Van Gilder Funeral Home in Plymouth, with the Rev. Douglas Jividen officiating. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
