    August 13, 2018 The regular meeting of the Board of School Trustees was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by Mrs. Shuey. Mrs. Shuey led the Board and audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. All Board members were present. Also present were Mr. Watkins, Mr. Durrwachter, Mr. Hall, Mrs. Conley, Mr. Morris, Mrs. Mongosa, Mr. Frushour, Mr. Snyder, Mayor Greer, a local news media reporter, and a patron. On motion by Mr. Comerford, seconded by Mr. Mullett, the Board unanimously approved two changes to the public agenda. On motion by Mr. Comerford, seconded by Ms. Rice, the Board approved, the public agenda with two additions, the memorandum of August 6 and 8, and the personnel report by a vote of 5-2. All String events will be held at Northview Middle School, adjacent to North Central High School. MAPS & SCHEDULES: Directors: Give your students a copy of the building maps along with the schedule. PARKING: Parking is available on the south, east and west sides of North Central, behind the JEL Career Center and on the north and south side of Northview Middle School. Parking is prohibited on the West side of Northview M.S. Buses and instrument trucks will be sent to an area behind the school after unloading. SCHEDULE CONFLICTS: No performance time changes can be made in advance to the published schedule. Minor schedule conflicts can usually be resolved at the performance room on the day of the event. In case of a conflict, participants should check with the doorkeeper at their scheduled room, as early as possible upon arrival. Directors should also notify doorkeepers of any events from their school that will not be attending. Although every attempt will be made to accommodate conflicts, there is no guarantee every conflict can be resolved. MEDALS: All performers receiving a Gold, Silver, Bronze, Participation, or Comment Only rating should take their comment sheet to one of the award distribution tables located throughout the building. Awards and ribbons will be distributed at these locations. DO NOT COME TO HEADQUARTERS FOR AWARDS! Reminder: A “With Distinction” designation at State Solo and Ensemble will be awarded to instrumental solos and ensembles receiving a 10.5 or less.
