Columbia County fourth- through sixth-graders held their own wth their peers state- wide in reading on Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test 2.0 this year, accord- ing to data released Friday by the state Department of Education. However, local reading scores dipped for seventh- through 10th-graders com- pared to the rest of the state. In math, only local fourth- graders passed at a higher rate than students statewide.
