GRANTEE: United Parcel Service Co. (UPSCO) Louisville, KY FAA Certificate Number: IPXA097B (Part 121) 2. PURPOSE AND LIMITATION: a. This special permit authorizes the transportation in commerce of certain hazardous materials in an inaccessible location aboard an aircraft in quantities exceeding those authorized by § 175.75 subject to the conditions and limitations provided herein. This special permit authorizes the hazardous materials identified in paragraph 6 below, which are otherwise permitted to be carried aboard passenger-carrying aircraft, to be loaded: (1) In any inaccessible cargo compartment; (2) In any freight container within an accessible cargo compartment; and (3) In any accessible cargo compartment in a cargo- only aircraft in a manner that makes them inaccessible in flight. This special permit provides no relief from the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) other than as specifically stated herein. The most recent revision supersedes all previous revisions. b.
